Annual chapter cookout... Scotlandville Park Baton Rouge, LA

THE MISSION OF THE CLUB SHALL BE:
To support the efforts and objectives of the Mu Psi Chapter, as it endeavors to fulfill the object of Phi Mu Alpha SINFONIA Fraternity of America, Inc. And, it shall do so in accordance with the following as the focus for its support: supporting scholarship, education, and the development of leadership and noble ideals among future generations of musicians and supporters of music in America.
We should also be well aware that the Mu Psi Alumni Club (MPAC) will be independently operated by its members and not subject to review or standard of the national fraternity in any way. This formula for supporting the chapter has been adopted with the understanding that, it will allow the alumni to supplement and enhance the overall fraternal experience of our younger brothers, while at the same time making them available so that they may better focus on becoming the best students, musicians, and Sinfonians that they can possibly be. Now, the only thing left to do is for us to leave our mark on the legacy of the Mu Psi chapter by pledging our support to this truly worthwhile undertaking.
Finally, it must be said that the formation of the MPAC is a giant step towards securing the future of our chapter. It will provide both the chapter and those brothers who will inherit it with a truly solid network of support, allowing them to put SINFONIA to work in ways not yet imagined. The alumni club itself shouldn’t be viewed as a sacrifice in the mundane sense, but instead it ought to be considered more a labor of love. The Mu Psi Alumni Club for us should be a commitment made out of the most profound sense of Brotherhood, with all of our Sacrifices resonating with the deepest Sincerity. For in the end, “Any sacrifice we can make for our fellows will find fruition in great joy”.
